By now you may have heard that a vegetarian diet can help you fight cancer, beat heart disease, lower blood pressure, prevent and reverse diabetes, and reduce the chances of gallstones, kidney stones, and osteoporosis. But you may not have heard that it also helps asthma sufferers. A Swedish study revealed that within a year of giving up meat and dairy, individuals with asthma experienced a distinct decrease in the need for medications and in the frequency and severity of asthma attacks.
