Really Live It Up

A wealthy Texan went to his attorney one day to prepare his last will and testament. One of the things he wanted when he died was to be buried in the most expensive, latest model, fully-equipped gold Cadillac.

One day the millionaire died. Just as he had requested, his family carried out his wishes to the letter. They bought the most luxurious Cadillac that was made. They placed the man’s body in the back seat and drove to the cemetery. A huge hole had already been dug. As a large crane was lowering the new Cadillac into the hole, the two gravediggers stood and watched, spellbound. One said, “I’m seeing it, but I can’t believe it! Being buried in a brand-new, gold Cadillac!” The other man replied, “Yeah, man, that’s really living!”

Better Life

Would you like to really live it up? I mean, have a better life than you could ever imagine? The Scriptures tell you a way to do just that. Turn to John 10:10, and look at the words of Jesus in this verse: “I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of."

Some people seem to have the idea that everything enjoyable in life is either fattening or sinful. This is a myth. I’m here to tell you that God’s way is the best way, the happiest way, in fact, the only way for men, women, and young people to really live. And I’ve tried it both ways.

Why not start right now to really live?
