Toning Muscles Plus

Strength training—whether with weights, elastic resistance bands, or even the weight of your own body—can tone muscles  as well as:
  • Increase Bone Density thus reducing the risk and impact of osteoporosis.
  • Lower the Risk of Falling by contributing to better balance and coordination.
  • Maintain a Healthy Weight because muscles burn more calories.
  • Alleviate Chronic Back Pain by making the internal back supports stronger.
  • Make Everyday Tasks Easier since you can do more as strength increases.

Talk to your doctor about strengthening exercises that are appropriate for you. Start with light weights and slow, deliberate movements.
