Help for Every Need

How would you like to receive a blank check that you could fill in for all your needs? Well, you can. Here's how. "My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus"(Philippians 4:19). There it is. Your blank check. Backed by a bank that will never fail–the Bank of Heaven.

Notice the promise is not to supply all your wants, but all your needs. So, what do you need today?

Life’s necessities? Courage and comfort? Wisdom? Hope for your future? You name it. The Bible says that God will supply it. Not some needs, or most needs, but every genuine need will be met. When you’ve worked hard, but things are still rough. When the bills are high, and the funds are low. When your plans just haven’t worked out, and you’re wondering if it’s all really worth it.

Maybe you’re sad right now because you’ve lost someone you love, either by death or separation. Maybe you have a health problem. And what do you do when your kids rebel? Whatever your need, you can take your problems to God. He will solve them, either by removing them or by giving you strength to face them. The Bible says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"(Philippians 4:13).

Cash your Check

Notice the last three words of our Bible verse for today, "...by Christ Jesus." We receive the answer to every need by accepting Jesus. There’s no other way. The riches of the Bank of Heaven are owned by Jesus. To cash your check, you must present it to Jesus. We all need Jesus. Our sin debt is too heavy for us to pay. You can’t pay it yourself. All you can do is let Jesus pay it for you.He already has done this by His death on the cross. All you have to do is accept it. Just cash the check.
