Free-radicals Beware!

A study by the United States Department of Agriculture reveals a dozen tasty foods that rate highest in antioxidants—the nemesis of those damaging, cancer-causing free-radicals coursing through our bodies. And the winners are:
  • Fruits: cranberries, blueberries, blackberries
  • Vegetables: beans, artichokes, Russet potatoes
  • Nuts: pecans, walnuts, hazelnuts
  • Spices: ground cloves, ground cinnamon, oregano
