Examining the survey reports by participants in the Adventist Health Study, Dr. Jackie Chan at Loma Linda School of Public Health found that water can protect the heart. Women who drank five or more glasses of water per day had a 40 percent reduction in fatal heart attacks, and men had a 50 percent reduction. Interestingly, the opposite was true for those participants who drank the most nonwater beverages, such as coffee, tea, sodas, and fruit juice.1
Drinking a minimum of ten eight-ounce glasses of water every day will improve your overall health. Water truly is on of heaven’s choicest blessings.
