Expensive Cigars

According to Reuters news agency, the world's most expensive cigar cost $440 each and can only be purchased in boxes of 40. At that price they had better taste good. But according to the report, no one has ever smoked one. Considered too valuable to light, these Cuban havanas were hand-made by a woman who has been rolling cigars for 39 years.
Actually, while the initial cost of these cigars is high, if they are never smoked they may end up being pretty cheap. The purchase price of tobacco products is only the beginning of what it really costs to consume them! According to the CDC, “Each year in the United States, approximately 440,000 persons die of a cigarette smoking-attributable illness, resulting in 5.6 million years of potential life lost, $75 billion in direct medical costs, and $82 billion in lost productivity.” 1
Some argue that cigars aren't as dangerous, but they are still connected with cancers of the lip, mouth and throat. If you smoke, why not decrease your odds of premature death by stopping today!
